Land Assistant – Surface

Permian Resources (NYSE: PR) is currently seeking a Surface Land Assistant. Reporting to the Surface Land Manager, the Surface Land Assistant will provide administrative and technical support for the Surface Land Team. The ideal candidate will have strong administrative and communication skills, as well as an understanding of surface land operations, and able to contribute his/her expertise while working on a multi-disciplinary team in a fast-paced environment. General responsibilities Review, code and process Surface invoices through internal accounting systems, including keeping an accounting for budgetary purposes, and work with the Accounting Department to provide necessary documentation, etc. Prepare and circulate Surface check requests (damages, rentals, annual use fees, permits, applications, etc.), as well as code and process weekly check requests Prepare cover letters for mailouts, send and track delivery receipts – FedEx, Certified Mailings and USPS Priority Assist with Quorum, Execute AFE and other system data population and information maintenance Record and track agreements from initial creation to completion and save in corresponding Well Files and upload to Land Administration Department Assist with surface title research, i.e.: Texas RRC, IHS, Texas File, Reeves CAD, Drilling Info., BLM SRP, NMSLO, etc. Provide administrative assistance for team leadership, including travel and event coordination Required Qualifications Education: High School Diploma Excellent administrative skills High degree of organization and efficiency with demonstrated attention to detail Superior ability to prioritize activities and meet deadlines Must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills Must possess a strong work ethic and demonstrate a positive/flexible attitude in a fast-paced team-oriented work environment Demonstrated work experience utilizing Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree from accredited college or university Previous Oil & Gas industry and/or Land experience
