Event Project Manager

NXP Semiconductors is hiring an event project manager.The event project manager role is of high importance to NXP’s global marketing & communications team. In this role, you will be responsible for planning, managing, and executing a variety of projects such as: trade shows; road shows; product launches; conferences; press/analysts’ events; seminars and sales/distributor training from beginning concept through project execution.In this global cross-functional role, you are uniting people across the organization to keep projects moving forward. You’ll also work in close collaboration with business and marketing teams across the globe, as well as agencies.Your Responsibilities Will Span Several Key Areas, IncludingGlobal coordination of event operations from the initial conception of the event to its successful completionOrganizing and leading event planning meetingsEvent Brief developmentDevelop project timelines and budgetsCollaborate with internal teams (Creative, MarCom, PR, Social Media, Web, Procurement, Finance, and Legal) and create presentations for planning meetings.Plan and facilitate logistics for all events, including contract negotiations, guest lists, venue preparation, presentation materials, security, catering, entertainment, transportation, shipping, equipment, decor, and marketing materials.Negotiate and manage vendor contracts.Track project milestonesIdentify product demos and determine the most effective way to showcaseAccountable for managing to approved budgetsReview and process vendor invoicesComplete database reporting for all projectsManage setup and event executionMaintain Event Budgets and Measurement Perform budgeting for event plans, align needs with performance goals, and track spend against budget.Establish and track KPIs for events iConduct post-event meetings to evaluate results/metricsQualificationsB.S. in Communications, Hotel/Restaurant Management, or Marketing with 5-7 years of direct event management experience.
