Infant Assistant Teacher
Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Assistant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. Duties
Assist in implementing daily routines that promote infant and toddler development, including feeding, diapering, and nap times
Support classroom activities designed to encourage sensory exploration, language development, and social-emotional growth
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized classroom environment following health and safety protocols
Observe and document individual progress and behaviors to inform teaching strategies and communicate with parents or guardians as needed
Support the lead teacher in managing classroom behavior through positive reinforcement and gentle guidance
Participate in ongoing training related to childhood development, first aid, special education needs, and caregiving best practices
Collaborate with team members to ensure all children receive attentive care tailored to their unique needs
Requirements
Prior experience working with infants or toddlers in daycare, preschool, babysitting, nannying, or similar settings
Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-appropriate activities for infants and toddlers
Certification or training in first aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain upon hire)
Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
Strong communication skills for engaging with children, parents, and team members effectively
Ability to manage classroom routines with patience, compassion, and professionalism
Demonstrated commitment to creating a safe and nurturing environment for young children

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
