CompanyRazi Research Partners is a Twin Cities based clinical research LLC focused on helping local physicians bring clinical trials into their existing clinics. We partner with independent and community based medical practices to make clinical research more accessible for patients while reducing the administrative burden for physicians. Our team supports the research operations, including study coordination, regulatory documentation, sponsor communication, patient recruitment support, study workflow management, and day to day trial administration. Our goal is to help physicians offer additional treatment options to their patients while strengthening research access in the communities they already serve.Opportunity TypeRazi Research Partners is seeking a physician who owns, leads, or practices within a Minnesota clinic with access to a patient population and appropriate space to support clinical research activities.This is a 1099 independent contractor opportunity structured as a clinical research partnership. This opportunity is designed for physicians who are interested in offering clinical trial access to their patients without building a research program from scratch. Razi Research Partners supports study coordination, regulatory documentation, sponsor communication, recruitment support, monitor visit coordination, and day to day research operations. The physician’s primary role is to provide medical oversight, support participant safety, review eligibility and study related clinical information, and ensure appropriate PI oversight in accordance with the protocol, GCP, IRB requirements, and applicable regulations.Clinic FitIdeal physician partners have access to an existing patient population through a private or community-based clinic. Independent practices, physician owned clinics, and clinics with flexibility to support research activities are strongly preferred.CompensationThis is a 1099 contract opportunity. Compensation is study dependent and may be structured based on physician oversight, study activity, enrollment volume, sponsor budget, and agreed upon contract terms. Details will be discussed during the introductory conversation with Razi Research PartnersKey ResponsibilitiesServe as Principal Investigator or Sub Investigator for clinical research studies conducted in partnership with Razi Research Partners.Provide medical oversight for study participants, including safety review and clinical decision making.Review and confirm participant eligibility based on study protocol criteria.Support identification of potentially eligible patients from the physician’s existing clinic population.Review labs, adverse events, protocol requirements, and safety related information as needed.Ensure study activities are conducted in accordance with the protocol, GCP, IRB requirements, and applicable regulatory standards.Meet with study monitors, sponsors, or CRO representatives when needed.Collaborate with Razi Research Partners on study feasibility, site readiness, patient recruitment, and study workflow.Support informed consent oversight and ensure appropriate protection of participant rights, safety, and welfare.Participate in sponsor, CRO, or site meetings as required for study conduct.Maintain appropriate documentation of physician oversight and study related decisions.Help ensure clinical research is integrated into the existing clinic workflow in a practical and patient centered manner.Ideal Physician PartnerLicensed physician practicing in Minnesota or eligible to practice in Minnesota.MD, DO, or equivalent medical degree.Board certified or board eligible in a relevant medical specialty.Practices within, owns, or has access to a clinic with an active patient population.Interested in expanding patient access to clinical trials and innovative treatment options.Comfortable providing medical oversight and patient safety review.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with research staff, sponsors, CROs, and clinic personnel.Commitment to ethical research, participant safety, and community health.Prior clinical research or Principal Investigator experience is preferred but not required.Experience in primary care, internal medicine, family medicine, cardiology, endocrinology, psychiatry, dermatology, neurology, or other research relevant specialties is welcome.Application / Next StepsPhysicians interested in learning more are invited to schedule a brief introductory conversation with Razi Research Partners to discuss clinic fit, patient population, specialty area, and potential study opportunities.Email: ahmed@raziresearch.comPhone number: 763-898-7804
