Registered Dietician

Job Description Pride Health is seeking a qualified and experienced Clinical Dietitian to join a multidisciplinary healthcare team in New York City, NY 10035. The ideal candidate will have experience working with adult patient populations and demonstrate the ability to deliver evidence-based nutritional care in a clinical setting. Key Responsibilities: Screen and assess patients accurately and in a timely manner based on levels of care Determine patients' nutritional needs and provide follow-up care Interview patients and/or families to obtain food habits and dietary preferences Interpret laboratory, physical, and social data relevant to nutrition care Provide nutrition education and document diet instructions and patient understanding Monitor patients for food/drug interactions and provide related education Consult with physicians regarding appropriate diet modifications Modify patient menus as needed Maintain accurate and timely documentation Patient Population: Adult patients in a Long-Term Acute Care Hospital (LTACH) setting Required Qualifications: Registered Dietitian (RD/RDN) credential required for Acute locations through the Commission on Dietetic Registration (CDR) New York State Certification as a Dietitian-Nutritionist required for Post-Acute Care locations Graduate from an accredited college/university with a degree in Dietetics or Foods and Nutrition Minimum one (1) year of relevant clinical experience required Strong clinical judgment and communication skills \Preferred Qualifications: Two (2) years of clinical dietitian experience Master's degree preferred AHA BLS certification preferred Additional Details: Location: New York City, NY 10035 Schedule: Day Shift | 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Contract Length: 14 Weeks Guaranteed Hours: 35 hours/week Pay Range: $52.00 – $56.00 per hour Offered pay rate will be based on education, experience, and healthcare credentials.
