Job DetailsWhat You'll Do:Lead and manage the Accounting Department to ensure accurate and timely financial information. Oversee month-end and year-end close, reviewing financial statements prior to finalization and distribution. Establish and maintain internal systems and controls to safeguard financial integrity. Manage complex accounting projects such as mergers, acquisitions, and system conversions. Summarize and forecast financial performance, including income, expenses, and earnings trends. Provide specialized reporting for business units such as investment services and lending. Oversee reconciliations for deposit and loan activity, shared branching, ATMs, and payment channels. Lead the integration of core systems with accounting platforms to enhance efficiency. Develop, coach, and motivate a high-performing accounting team through clear communication and accountability. Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure smooth coordination between accounting and other departments. What We're Looking For:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Business (required) 8+ years of progressive accounting experience (financial services or public accounting preferred) Active CPA license (strongly preferred) Experience with NCUA Call Reports or regulatory filings Familiarity with Fiserv or similar core accounting platforms Demonstrated understanding of GAAP, risk management, and ALM principles Proven leadership ability with a focus on process improvement and mentorship Interested in hearing more?
