JOB TITLE: Topstitch - Leather DEPARTMENT: Manufacturing FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt LOCATION: Leather Sewing Department SCHEDULE: Monday - Thursday 6:00 am - 4:30 pm OT may be required beyond the posted work schedule and/or a varied schedule may be required per business needs. PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIESAble to work in a fast-paced production environment. Operating topstitch machine to sew parts, for both cushion and flatwork jobs to meet production schedule. Responsible for being efficient and meeting quality standards. All other job duties as assigned, KNOWLEDGE SKILLS & ABILITIESFurniture - Topstitch (Double Needle) sew experience (2+ years) LEAN Manufacturing a plus. MINIMUM REQUIREMENTSAbility to work full time. Effective communication skills. Good organizational skills and detailed oriented. Basic Computer Skills. EFFORTMust be able to lift/handle/carry 25 lbs. +. Long periods of sitting. Able to work independently.
