Axis Milling Machinist

We are seeking a skilled and experienced 3 and 5 Axis Milling Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining 3 and 5 axis milling machines to produce precision parts and components. This role requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to quality.Responsibilities:Set up and operate 3 and 5 axis milling machines to produce precision parts according to specifications.Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical documents.Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications using a variety of measurement tools.Collaborate with engineers and other team members to optimize machining processes.Maintain a clean and organized work area.dhere to all safety protocols and procedures. Required Experience:High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree, military training or certification in. machining or a related field preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience operating 3 and 5 axis milling machines.Experience with tight tolerances and precision parts.Knowledge of GD&T.Experience with metrology/measuring tools.Strong understanding of machining principles and techniques.Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.bility to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.Strong communication and teamwork skills.bility to work independently and manage time effectively. Desired Experience:Experience with CAD/CAM software.Tool Grinding.Experience with Swiss style lathes.Experience with advanced metrology equipment such as CMMs.Experience with NPI. Physical Requirements:bility to lift and move materials up to 35 pounds.Prolonged periods of standing and working with machinery.Good hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity.
