Job SummaryThe Showroom Cabinet Sales Associate is responsible for guiding customers through the selection, design, and purchase of kitchen, bath, and related cabinet products. This role combines sales expertise, customer service, and basic design knowledge to deliver an exceptional showroom experience and drive revenue. Must bring an established book of business, including active client relationships and a proven history of cabinetry sales.Key ResponsibilitiesGreet and assist showroom visitors in a professional and knowledgeable mannerConsult with customers to understand project needs, style preferences, budgets, and timelinesPresent cabinet options, finishes, hardware, and accessoriesCreate preliminary cabinet layouts and quotes using design or estimating softwarePrepare and follow up on proposals, estimates, and sales ordersCoordinate with designers, installers, and vendors to ensure accurate orders and on-time deliveryMaintain showroom displays, samples, and marketing materialsBuild long-term customer relationships and generate repeat and referral businessMeet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales goalsStay current on product lines, pricing, promotions, and industry trendsOther duties as assigned Required QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)2+ years of sales experience; showroom, cabinetry, or home improvement sales preferredStrong customer service and interpersonal skillsAbility to read basic floor plans and measurements (training provided if needed)Proficiency with basic computer systems; experience with design or CRM software a plus 20/20 preferredStrong attention to detail and organizational skills Preferred Skills & AttributesKnowledge of kitchen and bath design principlesExperience with cabinet manufacturers and product linesAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyConfident presentation and closing skillsSelf-motivated with a results-driven mindset
