Technical and Trade SchoolsIndustrial Machinery ManufacturingSupport Activities for Road TransportationCommercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment (except Automotive and Electronic) Repair and MaintenanceElectronic and Precision Equipment Repair and MaintenanceMaintenance-Electrical TechnicianHolland, Michigan, United StatesAbout the Job Maintenance-Electrical TechnicianPAY - $35-$39 / hrSHIFT - 3rdResponsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production machinery, primarily in a hot and conventional stamping environment.Shift Schedule: 3rd Shift Monday-Friday, 10:00pm-6:00am with overtime based on business needs.Essential Responsibilities:Diagnose cause of mechanical, electrical, or controls malfunction or failure of production equipmentPerform preventative and corrective maintenance on production equipmentMake repairs to Fanuc robotic equipment including circuit board, servo motor, wiring, and encoder issuesPerform minor path and program changes to Fanuc robotsPerform installation, maintenance, repair, and diagnostics of production equipmentDiagnose electrical, control-related, mechanical, or hydraulic malfunction and determine and perform corrective actions on sameUse lock-out/tag-out procedures applicable to equipment when servicing, repairing, or installing equipmentAssist other technicians in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of equipmentDemonstrate the ability to work collaboratively with other team membersTake ownership by making repairs in a timely manner and follow up with customers and stakeholders to ensure work was completed effectively and permanentlyPerform facility and building maintenance tasks as requiredParticipate in continuous improvement and assist in its implementationKeep work area clean and compliant to a 5S modelMaintain safety standards in the workplace in accordance with workplace and OSHA standardsEnsure the quality of all work done and of our products to ensure customer satisfactionRead and interpret blueprints and schematics for mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical diagnostic purposesOperate mobile equipment (forklifts, vertical lifts, cranes, etc)Operate hand and power tools to effect repairsCommunicate effectively and respectfully with other team members in order to accomplish assigned tasksKnowledge, Skills and AbilitiesSpeak, read, and write EnglishUse mathematics in the accomplishment of repairs and diagnosticsUse problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify conclusions, alternatives, and approaches to tasks and repairs to effect the most timely and productive outcomeMust be self-starting, motivated, and eager to resolve issues and complete tasks
