Trust and Estate Paralegal

Job DescriptionAbout the RoleWe are seeking an experienced Trust & Estate Paralegal to join our growing team in a hybrid capacity. This role is ideal for a highly organized, detail-oriented professional with extensive experience supporting attorneys in estate planning, trust administration, and probate matters. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of hands-on experience in trusts and estates and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Key ResponsibilitiesDraft estate planning documents, including wills, revocable and irrevocable trusts, powers of attorney, healthcare directives, and related instrumentsAssist with trust funding and asset transfersManage probate and trust administration matters from initiation through closingPrepare court filings and coordinate with probate courtsCommunicate with clients, financial institutions, accountants, and advisorsMaintain case files, calendars, and deadlinesPrepare federal and state estate tax filings (experience preferred)Assist attorneys with research and document reviewQualificationsMinimum 3 years of Trust & Estate paralegal experienceStrong knowledge of estate planning and probate proceduresExperience drafting estate planning documents independentlyFamiliarity with trust funding and asset retitlingProficiency in legal practice management and document management softwareExcellent written and verbal communication skillsStrong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detailParalegal certificate preferred but not requiredWork EnvironmentHybrid scheduleCollaborative and professional team environmentCompetitive compensation based on experienceHow to ApplyFor more information or to apply, please reach out to:Chelsey Haibeck chelsey.haibeck@gopac.com 605.501.4307
