Heavy Equipment Operator/Laborer

Job Description We are seeking a dedicated, experienced, and hardworking Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various tasks that support our operations, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment. This role requires physical labor, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with others. Experience in the industry and operating are a mandatory requirement.*This position will hold a variety of responsibilities as we are a very small business. Duties include but are not limited to operating heavy machines, managing small jobs solo with guidance of supervisor, maintaining the shop, general labor work (shoveling, racking, etc) , equipment maintenance, and moreDutiesOperating basic heavy equipmentGeneral labor duties on jobsitesManaging and overseeing small crewsPerform general maintenance tasks, including mechanical repairs, cleaning work areas and tools.Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a secure work environment.Operate basic hand tools and machinery as needed.RequirementsOperating experiencePrevious experience in a labor-intensive role is mandatory.Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work.Good communication skills and ability to work well within a team.Basic knowledge of safety practices in a labor setting is advantageous.Willingness to learn new skills and take on additional responsibilities as needed.Join us in making a difference through hard work and dedication!Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, TemporaryPay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hourExpected hours: 30 – 40 per weekBenefits:Dental insuranceHealth insurance401K MatchingSchedule:hourly, typically 8 hrs.
