What You'll Get to Do The full-time Material Handler (Glass) for our Denver, CO facility is focused on moving materials using vacuum lift assist equipment, manually lifting and moving mobile carts from one position/location to another to facilitate the production process and reports the Production Supervisor. This role is perfect for an individual who is committed, detail oriented, and a team player. A vital member of the Production Department, this is an opportunity to build a career with an industry leader. Job responsibilities include:The ability to perform tasks safely, adhere to all safety policies and procedures and correct or report hazards in the workplaceUnderstand and apply inspection procedures and tolerances to pass or reject materials and/or productsPerform preventative maintenance activities on equipment, such as cleaning and inspecting. Keep work areas clean and organizedUnderstand and comply with all written policies, work rules, and instructions. Execute verbal directions as instructed.Respect co-workers to maintain a civil and safe work environment What We're Looking ForMust be at least 18 years oldBasic computer input and interface skillsAbility to read and use a tape measureStable work history with previous manufacturing/fabrication experience and/or mechanical aptitude preferredAvailable to work a 5-day workweek with occasional work on SaturdaysMust be flexible to work in different functions throughout the plantStarting wage is $19.50 per hour, with $4.00 additional per hour for the second shiftHours: 2nd shift 5pm - 1:30am.
