Performs the following functions: Follow the defined standards in AV rooms designs, analyzes, evaluates, and tests.A collaboration room, also known as a collaboration space or a collaborative workspace, is a designated physical or virtual space where individuals or teams come together to collaborate, brainstorm, and work on projects collectively.Creating an effective collaboration room requires careful planning and consideration of various factors to ensure that it fosters creativity, productivity, and effective teamwork.Key Responsibilities Design and Architecture: Assist in design and plan unified communications solutions based on organizational needs, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. Implementation: Deploy and configure unified communications systems, including VoIP, video conferencing, instant messaging, and collaboration tools. Maintenance: Monitor and maintain the health and performance of unified communications infrastructure, troubleshoot issues, and perform regular updates and patches. Integration: Integrate unified communications systems with other IT components, such as network infrastructure, Active Directory, and cloud services. Security: Implement security measures to protect communication channels, data, and endpoints, and ensure compliance with security standards and regulations. User Support: Provide technical support to end-users, resolve communication-related issues, and offer training when necessary. Documentation: Create and maintain documentation for unified communications systems, including configurations, procedures, and best practices. Vendor Management: Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to procure hardware, software, and services, and manage vendor relationships. Capacity Planning: Analyze usage patterns and plan for capacity upgrades to meet future communication needs. Disaster Recovery / BCP: Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures to ensure business continuity in case of system failures.
