CDL A Truck Driver - Autonomous Truck Testing OTR

Location: Oklahoma City, OK (On-site)Pay: $32.00–$37.00/hour + potential annual bonusSchedule: Full-time (OTR / non-local routes)Type: PermanentOverviewWe are seeking experienced CDL A Truck Drivers to support the testing and operation of advanced autonomous trucking technology. In this role, you will safely operate commercial vehicles while hauling freight and contributing to the development of next-generation self-driving systems.This is a unique opportunity to combine professional driving with cutting-edge technology in a fast-paced, safety-focused environment.Key ResponsibilitiesSafely operate Class A commercial trucks on public roads during testing and pilot operationsHaul commercial freight between customer locations and meet pointsMonitor vehicle performance and provide detailed feedback on system behaviorUse internal tools (smartphone/tablet) to log assignments, routes, and test resultsMaintain compliance with OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA regulationsPerform and support vehicle inspections and ensure operational readinessRemain alert and attentive during extended periods of autonomous operationUphold strict safety standards at all timesSchedule & Work DetailsOTR (Over-the-Road) driving – not local routesFlexible schedule depending on testing and freight timelinesTypical hours when not traveling: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM + overtimeTravel required across multiple states, potentially for multiple weeks at a timeMay include overnight runs depending on freight and testing schedulesMust be able to work up to 5 consecutive days, including varied shiftsRequirementsValid CDL A license with Air Brake endorsementMinimum 3+ years of Class A driving experienceClean driving recordExperience with ELDs (Electronic Logging Devices) and vehicle inspectionsStrong understanding of OSHA, DOT, and FMCSA regulationsAbility to operate sleeper cab trucks and work extended routesWillingness to travel frequently across statesAbility to pass:DOT Physical and maintain Medical Examiner's CertificateBackground check and employment verificationDrug & alcohol screening (including FMCSA Clearinghouse requirements)Completion of sleep apnea screening within required timeframeStrong communication and interpersonal skillsBasic computer skills (smartphone/tablet usage)Additional BenefitsCompetitive hourly pay + potential annual bonus$0 premiums for Medical, Dental, and Vision (employee + dependents)401(k) with company matchAnnual profit-sharing contributionOpen PTO policy14 paid holidays + winter break (Dec 24 – Jan 1)No loading/unloading requiredInterview ProcessPhone screenIn-person interview + driving test
