Structural Engineering Intern (Summer 2027) Locations: Dallas, TX | Austin, TX | Chicago, IL | Denver, CO | Houston, TX | Las Vegas, NV | Phoenix, AZ | San Antonio, TX | Winchester, VA Build Your Future with AG&E AG&E Associates is seeking a motivated Structural Engineering Intern to join our team as part of our Summer 2027 Internship Program. This role offers the opportunity to gain hands-on experience while working closely with project teams and experienced engineers to support structural design and project delivery across a variety of project types. Sectors We Operate In: Mission Critical and Data Centers Aviation Advanced Manufacturing What You Will Do Assist engineers with a variety of structural engineering tasks Support analysis of project data and perform basic structural calculations Prepare sketches and drawings using Revit, AutoCAD, or other software Assist with research, documentation, and preparation of engineering reports Support quantity takeoffs and cost estimates Assist with construction administration activities, including RFIs and submittals Participate in field work and site visits under supervision Collaborate with project teams on assigned tasks Prepare materials for presentations and client meetings Support development of design templates and internal tools Review work for accuracy and completeness What You Bring Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering/Architectural Engineering with an emphasis on structures Minimum 3.3 GPA or above in coursework Basic knowledge of structural engineering principles Familiarity with Revit, AutoCAD, or similar modeling software Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Strong communication and teamwork skills Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks A current unofficial or official academic transcript Why Join AG&E At AG&E, you’ll work in a supportive and highly collaborative environment that encourages teamwork.
