Senior Estimator - Heavy Civil/Bridges

Job DescriptionJob Title: Senior Estimator - BridgesPosition Overview:We are seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to lead estimating efforts for complex bridge construction projects. This role is responsible for preparing accurate, competitive cost estimates and supporting bid strategy for public and private infrastructure work.Key Responsibilities:Lead the preparation of detailed cost estimates for bridge and heavy civil projects.Review plans, specifications, and geotechnical reports to determine scope and risk.Perform quantity takeoffs for structural concrete, structural steel, foundations, piling, earthwork, and related bridge components.Solicit and evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing.Develop bid packages, scopes of work, and pricing breakdowns.Analyze project risks and develop value engineering alternatives.Participate in pre-bid meetings, site visits, and client presentations.Support project handoff to operations upon award.Qualifications:7+ years of estimating experience in bridge or heavy civil construction.Strong knowledge of DOT projects and public bid processes.Experience estimating structural concrete, structural steel, and deep foundation systems.Proficient with estimating software and Microsoft Excel.Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.Preferred:Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field.Experience with large-scale DOT or design-build bridge projects.Compensation & Benefits:Competitive base salaryPTO/VacationComprehensive benefits package (medical, dental, vision)401(k) with company matchBonus IncentivesSend resume to mitchell.guerrieri@gogpac.com for more information
