Headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, Ziptek operates with manufacturing and assembly facilities across the U.S.Role Description This is a remote role for an Orthopedic Surgeon – Advisory Board Member. The advisor will provide professional expertise to guide the clinical application of Ziptek's innovative surgical technologies. Responsibilities include reviewing and providing feedback on product development, sharing insights on clinical trials, and advising on the integration of the device into surgical practices. The role also involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, participating in strategic discussions, and supporting education and outreach initiatives related to Ziptek’s technology.Qualifications Strong expertise and experience in Orthopedic Surgery and Orthopedics In-depth knowledge of surgical practices, particularly in areas such as Spine and General Surgery Familiarity with advancements and practices in Medicine as it relates to tissue repair and biomechanics Proven ability to provide strategic guidance and collaborate on medical device development Excellent communication and advisory skills to effectively mentor and share insights with cross-functional teams Proficiency in evaluating clinical outcomes and providing constructive feedback on product implementation Board certification in Orthopedic Surgery; experience with medical devices is an advantage
