We design and build our products as an original equipment manufacturer (OEM). Our professional staff includes chemical, mechanical, electrical, and structural engineers. Our manufacturing facilities are capable of pipe welding, pressure vessel fabrication, ductwork fabrication, and instrument and controls integration.
Job Description
EnviroKinetics is seeking a highly-motivated engineer to join our technical sales and process engineering team. The successful applicant will be involved in both project development and execution. The applicant will directly interact with clients to establish project requirements, develop conceptual solutions, and prepare commercial proposals. During project execution, the applicant will support our project management and engineering teams by evaluating design trade-offs, performing computational modeling, and preparing technical documentation.
Responsibilities
Developing sales contacts and researching customer needs
Guiding potential customers to products or services that fulfill their needs
Developing internal cost estimates and evaluating potential suppliers
Drafting technical and commercial proposals for submittal to customers
Participating in commercial negotiations with customers
Providing process engineering support to product development teams
Performing computational fluid dynamics (CFD) and process modeling
Performing process design calculations, including mass and energy balances
Participates in development of new products, modification of existing products, and termination of ineffective products
Participates in sales forecasting and planning
Develops sales materials, articles, and presentations
Communicating in a cooperative and professional manner with all levels of staff and customers
Requirements
B.S. in Chemical Engineering or equivalent
Entry level to 5 years of industry experience
Ability to independently establish goals and schedules
Experience with Microsoft Office
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in commercial or industrial sales
Experience with 2D and 3D CAD: AutoCAD, Inventor, SolidWorks
Experience with CFD simulation: ANSYS CFX and Fluent
Experience with process simulation: ASPEN Plus
Programming experience: Excel VBA, Python, Java, C#
