Staff Accountant

The Staff Accountant will support core accounting functions within a complex, high-volume environment. This role is instrumental in ensuring the accuracy of financial data tied to operational activity, while also contributing to process improvements across accounting workflows. This position is well-suited for someone who is comfortable working within large-scale, transaction-heavy environments, including those that involve manual processes, and who can identify opportunities to enhance efficiency and accuracy. Key Responsibilities Prepare and post journal entries, including accruals, prepaids, and operational adjustments Support month-end close processes across multiple entities and business units Perform account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies tied to high-volume transactional data Collaborate with operations, logistics, and warehouse teams to ensure accurate financial reporting Assist in the preparation of financial statements and internal reporting packages Maintain and improve documentation of accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls Identify and drive process improvements, particularly within manual or semi-automated workflows Support internal and external audits, including preparation of schedules and documentation Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance 2-5+ years of accounting experience.
