Software Engineer II (.NET/AngularJS)100% Remote4-month contractPay Rate: $50.00 - $58.00per hr.Our client needs a Software Engineer II to join the Frontier AI remediation initiative to help identify, troubleshoot, and resolve outstanding application vulnerabilities and technical issues across a portfolio of existing applications. This is primarily an on-premises .NET environment, with a strong emphasis on C#, SQL, and application remediation rather than new feature development.Key ResponsibilitiesRemediate vulnerabilities and outstanding technical issues across existing applications.Develop, troubleshoot, and maintain applications using C# and .NET.Work with both .NET Framework and .NET Core applications.Query and work with SQL databases to support application remediation.Work with existing MVC and web-based applications.Collaborate with development and technical teams to resolve security and application issues.Support applications through remediation and deployment processes.Work within existing GitHub and CI/CD environments as applicable.Use AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot when available.Required Skills:3+ years strong hands-on C# / .NET development experience.Experience with .NET Framework and/or .NET Core.Experience working with SQL/SQL Server.Ability to troubleshoot and modify existing applications.Strong understanding of software development and application remediation.Preferred QualificationsASP.NET / ASP.NET Web FormsMVCJavaScriptAngular/AngularJSAPI developmentGitHub / GitHub ActionsCI/CD pipeline experienceHarness or similar CI/CD technologyExperience working with application vulnerabilities or security remediationBanking/financial services experience is a bonus
