Project Engineer

Position Title: Project Engineer McClone Construction Company (MCC) is a family-owned business, founded in 1975. We are looking to add a Full-Time Project Engineer to our team. The following are general responsibilities for the position: Responsibilities: Engineer and design concrete formwork Develop formwork fabrication drawings Produce concrete outline drawings Perform simple design calculations Assist in quality control/assurance of installed work during construction Assist and lead projects from planning to execution and closeout Create and manage RFIs, submittals, and drawing changes Conduct regular jobsite visits to inspect installed work Other duties as assigned Minimum Requirements and Preferred Qualifications: Ability to work independently and efficiently, with little direction Proactive planning and organizational skills Professional appearance with good interpersonal and effective communication skills Familiarity with Revit or AutoCAD Experience with reading construction drawings is desired Experience in Microsoft Office Suite and MS Project is desired Ability to work well with others and assimilate in a team environment Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field is desired Knowledge of physics or statics is desired FE / EI certification is desired but not required Ability to speak Spanish would be a bonus, but is not required Company Culture and Values: At MCC our focus is the unmatched pursuit of excellence to elevate our team and partners through expert structural concrete design, planning, and construction. Compensation and Benefits Include: Salary Range – ($65,000 - $79,000) Excellent Medical, Dental and Vision Benefits; 100% of premiums covered by company for Team Member and dependents.
