Join us as we continue to fight climate change.What You Will Be Doing:Assemble material and operate equipment within specifications, safely and efficientlyMeasure, assemble materials, apply chemicals, and transport materials within specifications and with precisionVerify solutions, materials, and finished product criteria are within specifications prior to using or releasingUse care and attention to detail while working with raw materials and finished product to ensure product is not damaged and is properly handledOperate equipment within safety guidelines and specifications required for the task being performedMaintain process specifications and inspect product for qualityRecord process data and information accurately an appropriatelyMake appropriate decisions based on data and information gathered in the processCommunicate issues with product, processes, and data to supervisor and/or manager in a timely mannerOther essential duties may include the following depending on position:Place raw materials into a mixerPlace kneaded mixes into the pre-extruderTake formed bricks and run through Loomis extruder to form honeycomb catalystsPlace honeycomb catalysts on trays, wrap, and place on the cart for the ovensPlace carts with honeycomb catalysts in ovens, monitor temperature, and humidity, making necessary adjustments, remove catalysts once completePrepare dry honeycomb catalysts for chemical activationPrepare chemical mix for activation processCut honeycomb catalysts to specificationsBuild arrays by cementing catalysts into specifications and install in modulesOperate a forklift in a safe mannerOperate an overhead crane in a safe mannerMust be able to work on assigned shiftsWork Schedule:1st Shift 7:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday (overtime may be required)2nd Shift 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday (overtime may be required)3rd Shift 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. Sunday thru Thursday (overtime may be required)RequirementsReliable means of transportation is required for all positionsMust be able to pass a drug screenBackground check is requiredSelf-motivated workerGood basic math and written communication skillsSafety consciousWillingness to take on responsibilityAble to work in a teamGood attendance - punctualAble to lift up to 50 lbs.Able to read, follow instruction, and record informationWork experience in an industrial environmentProven knowledge of general plant safetyWhat Knowledge And Skills We Prefer:High School Diploma or equivalent is preferredManufacturing or closely related experienceForklift experience preferredThe Working Conditions:Mechanical noiseDusty and dirty work environment due to materials and raw materialsVarying temperatures from warm to cold.The Physical Requirements:Ability to lift push, pull, and carry 25 pounds frequently.Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry 50 pounds occasionally.Standing for extended periods of time.Walking, stooping, bending, crouching, twisting, climbing, and kneeling.As a Team Member At CORMETECH You’ll Enjoy:Benefits are provided on the first day of hire.
