Software Developer

Software DeveloperPosition is for a Software Developer responsible for developing enterprise-level software applications (primarily cloud-based) for corporate and government/municipal clients.Duties include, but are not limited to: collaborating with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for software development projects; create detailed functional and technical specifications based on requirements gathered; develop high-level design documents and system architecture diagrams, ensuring designs meet with scalability, performance, and security requirements; write computer code for development of software applications; perform unit and integration testing of the code; define project scope, goals, and deliverables; creating project plans, including timelines and resource allocation; monitor and track project progress and making adjustments to project plans as needed; identify, diagnose, and fix bugs and performance issues; create and maintain technical documentation for code, APIs, and systems; document development processes and methodologies; Stay updated with the latest industry trends, technologies, and software development practices; participate in code reviews and pair programming sessions to improve code quality; and implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to ensure smooth and automated deployments.Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering and 2 years of experience. Experience as a Computer Programmer is acceptable, or any suitable combination of education, training, or experience thereof. Job Site: Employee is permitted to work remotely from his/her home residence, but may be required to travel to various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S. The frequency of travel cannot be anticipated.
