This is an entry level job but with a great path to learning and growth. The ideal candidate is highly motivated and well rounded, with knowledge/interest in coding, PCB design, and possesses a mechanical ability. Join us in shaping the future with next-gen testing solutions.Job Responsibilities and Tasks:Design test fixtures and test procedures for DUT and system level testGenerate, evaluate, and perform engineering change requests as requiredApply innovative approaches to resolving unusual or complex engineering problems at task and project levelsApply engineering knowledge to analyze, investigate and resolve assigned engineering problems at a task and project levelDevelop appropriate documentation of findings and implemented solutions, and communicates results to project engineering staffSupport test plan working groups, technical reviews, and safety reviews with internal and external customersWork side-by-side with systems/project/mechanical/software engineering on all associated documentationCommunicate clearly in writing and verbally during all phases design, test and deployment programs to include test plans, build documentation, and issues and test reportsMake technical presentations to project staffSupport engineering staff to identify, analyze, troubleshoot, and aid in developing solutions to test and integration issues found during all phases of test utilizing standard engineering and scientific principlesDesign Circuits and PCBs to facilitate testingTake ownership of the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of the work assignmentsSome travel required (up to 15%)Skills:Strong understanding of electrical engineering principlesStrong written and verbal communication skillsStrong problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamProficiency in Microsoft Office applicationsWilling and eager to learn Qualifications:Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or similar.2+ years on the job experience preferred but not required Due to ITAR and/or CUI compliance, this position requires candidates to be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or other U.S. person per 22 CFR § 120.62. Pay: $75,000 110,000 per year Location: El Cajon, CA Hours: Full-time, In-office, Monday through Friday. 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM, with ability to work extended hours as required.
