Quality Control Manager
General SummaryThis position shall have overall responsibility for the contractor's quality control management program to include maintaining and overseeing the quality control management program for entire contractEssential Duties and ResponsibilitiesAdminister quality control management programResponsible for overall quality assurance programMonitor and inspect all delivery orders for complianceMaintain records of inspections and certificationsPrepare monthly reports depicting findings of quality inspectionsPeriodically review the quality control program to ensure complianceExamine processes for preventative and corrective maintenance; make suggestions based on findingsPerform inspections and re-inspections to ensure problems have been resolvedCollect data for the DMLSS system including work orders and equipment historyResearch safety and quality topics onlineMay prepare incident and accident reportsMay be tasked with preparing training materials and conducting employee safety meetingsMay manage the disposal of hazardous wasteMay research and issue infection control and interim Life Safety permitsMay train personnel on material control and equipment and tool managementOther duties as assigned Knowledge, Experience and Skill RequirementsKnowledge of OSHA safety regulations and PPE proceduresStrong written and oral communication skillsCurrent CMQ/OE certification or ability to achieve certification within 6 monthsAt least five years of experience in preparing and enforcing QMS programs on Base Operating Support or Facilities Maintenance contracts of similar size, scope and complexity. REQUIREMENTS5 Years of on-the-job experience in one or more of the areas of the Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence Body of Knowledge5 *Years of on-the-job experience must be in a "Decision-making" position.*A "Decision-making" position is defined as the authority to define, execute, or control projects/processes and to be responsible for the outcome. This may or may not include management or supervisory positions.
