Logistics & Inventory Administrator Job DescriptionBusiness OverviewNeusoft Medical Systems USA, Inc. ("NMS USA") is a CT system distribution company located in NW Houston, Texas (77014) with its headquarters located in Shenyang, China. We provide affordable CT systems to customers in the USA, Mexico, and small islands.We are a small business that is looking at the potential for many changes in the coming months and years. Our goal is to find someone that fits in with our team, and is able to learn our established processes. You will NOT be operating a full size forklift in this role, but should be comfortable operating a manual and/or electric pallet jack. The candidate selected for this position will begin training with our current Logistics Manager before her retirement in a few months.We would like to bring on a moderately tech-savvy and detail-oriented Logistics & Inventory Administrator that will work part-time in the office. Due to the regular handling and urgent shipping requirements of our spare parts, this position does not have the option to work remotely. This is a part-time Monday through Friday position (typically 22-35 hours per week), with extended hours as needed. The pay rate is $26.00/hour. NMS USA is not able to provide benefits or visa sponsorship in this role. This position will report to the Houston Office Manager.ResponsibilitiesThe following list does not serve as a complete description of the duties for the selected candidate as other tasks may be assigned or changed as needed by the Office Manager, VP, and Service Engineers.LogisticsOversee and process all inbound and outbound spare part orders (domestic and international)Create and complete shipping documents such as commercial invoices, packing lists, SLI, and AWB/WBAccurate data entry and record keeping for all spare part movements between NMS USA, HQ, vendors, and customersMaintain contact with HQ for new and defective spare part shipmentsProvide tracking and return form information to customersAssist with CT system installation management as neededMonitor CT system shipments from HQ to HoustonX-ray badge distribution to service teamOrder shipping supplies as neededInventoryAccurate data entry and record keeping for all spare parts in Houston office and offsite warehouse, Mexico, and Puerto RicoQuarterly inventory count of spare parts in office warehouse and offsite warehouse (Less than 5 miles from office)Maintain contact with Service Engineers to ensure inventory is kept at or above minimum levels at all timesAssists Service Engineers with part identification and photographs as neededCoordinates defective part destruction with HQ and "scrapping" vendorEnsures office warehouse is organized at all timesInstalls ID labels onto new X-Ray tubesRegularly orders spare partsRequirements (in no particular order)Comfortable operating a manual and/or electric pallet jack.
