HVAC BIM Detailer

Job DescriptionHVAC BIM Detailer needed for a fast-growing company with exceptional training and development opportunities. Minimum 3 years of experience preferred in commercial mechanical and plumping projects.Position Responsibilities:Assist in developing BIM Models of HVAC duct, piping and plumbing and other areas of mechanical constructionIdentify interferences with the architectural, structural and other MEP elementsFile clean-up, title block and viewport set-up, compile files for composite coordination, tagging and dimensioning model/drawings, etc.Detailing sections of the modelProduce details/drawings that comply with design criteria, contract requirements and applicable codeCoordinate mechanical /plumbing models with other trade professionalsWork requires occasional travel to job sitesMaintain a safe work attitude and encourage safety of others, especially when present at construction sitesOther duties as assignedExperience:Basic ability of Interpreting blueprints, schematic drawings, specification, construction standards, layouts and job specific requirementsUnderstanding and interpreting architectural and structural details as they affect the MEP installationsA working knowledge AutoCad, Revit, NavisWorks and Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)Familiarization with applicable Plumbing and Mechanical building codes and safety lawsPlease send resume to mindy.croker@gogpac.com for more information on this or any other positions you may be interested
