ERP Manager

Position OverviewWe are seeking an experienced ERP Manager to lead ERP implementation initiatives while also supporting presales activities and business development efforts. This role combines project management, functional leadership, client-facing pre-sales support, and strategic system planning. The ERP Manager will work closely with executive leadership, sales teams, offshore engineering teams, and clients to design ERP solutions that align with operational and financial objectives. This role also requires occasional travel to client sites to support implementation activities, user testing, and training.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Leadership & DeliveryLead full-cycle ERP implementation projects from discovery to go-live and post-launch supportDevelop and manage project plans, budgets, and resource allocationsManage risks, scope, and client expectationsEnsure on-time and on-budget project deliveryCoordinate with offshore engineering teams to optimize task allocation and maintain development qualityPresales & Solution ConsultingParticipate in client discovery meetings and requirements workshopsProvide solution design support during proposal developmentPrepare high-level solution architecture and implementation approachesEstimate project scope, timelines, and resource requirementsSupport RFP/RFI responses and client presentationsPartner with Sales to help close ERP-related opportunitiesBusiness & Functional LeadershipTranslate business requirements into functional ERP configurationsAdvise clients on best practices in Finance, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory processesIdentify opportunities for automation and operational efficiencyAlign ERP capabilities with financial reporting and management needsTeam & Executive review ManagementSupervise internal ERP consultants and coordinate with external vendorsWork with global/HQ teams on cross-border ERP initiativesCollaborate with offshore engineers to ensure efficient delivery and consistent implementation qualityMentor junior consultants and build internal ERP capabilitiesCommunicate effectively with executive leadership and department headsGovernance & Continuous ImprovementSupport user acceptance testing (UAT) and implementation readinessProvide client training and guidance to ensure successful system adoptionTravel to client sites when needed to assist with testing, training, and implementation supportEstablish ERP governance and documentation standardsMonitor system performance and recommend enhancementsDrive adoption of Microsoft ecosystem tools (Power Platform, reporting tools, etc.)Required Qualifications5+ years of ERP implementation experience2+ years of project leadership or PM experienceExperience participating in presales or solution consulting activitiesStrong experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central preferredSolid understanding of Finance, Accounting, Sales, Purchasing, and Inventory processesExperience preparing project estimates and implementation plansExperience collaborating with offshore or distributed engineering teamsWillingness to travel to client sites for testing support and user training when neededExcellent client-facing communication skillsBusiness-level Japanese proficiency (?????????)Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorshipMust be available for hybrid workPreferred QualificationsExperience in IT services or ERP consulting firmsExperience supporting Japanese subsidiaries in the U.S.Familiarity with Microsoft Power PlatformPMP certification or equivalentExperience in manufacturing or distribution environmentsJ-18808-Ljbffr
