Hamilton Grove Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center - Hamilton Grove Healthcare and Rehabilitation a 218 bed long term care / Skilled Nursing Facility located in Mercer County is currently seeking a part time cook to join our outstanding dietary team. Responsibilities include but not limited to:Prepares food for regular and therapeutic diets according to planned menus.Prepares food using proper food handling and safety factors.Ensures that the proper quantity of food is prepared.Makes only authorized substitutions.Ensures that all food is prepared and served according to proper time schedules.Keeps work area neat and uncluttered.Assists as directed in special evens of the facility.Using the proper and appropriate tools for preparing and serving food.Serves food according to the planned menu and according to the specific diet of the patient/resident.Performs assigned cleaning tasks according to policy and using the proper chemicals in the appropriate manner.Ensures that the department is maintained in a clean and sanitary manner.Labels, dates and stores food properly according to regulations.Ensures that refrigerator and freezer temperatures are maintained in proper temperature ranges.Ensures that food storage areas are maintained stocked and clean.Assists with stock inventory, ordering and storing.Assists in the maintenance of the department's budget.Monitors security of environment and supplies.Ensures that all supplies, etc. are available prior to meal service.Maintains a safe environment, reporting any problems immediately.Participates in the quality assessment and improvement of the facility.Adheres to dress codeMonitors dietary aide performance.Communicates regularly with Food Service Director.Maintains confidentiality.Performs all other related dietary duties as directed by Supervisor.Supervise dietary aides working with her/her on the shift.We offer a generous benefit package along with a fantastic work environment.
