Role Description This is a contract, remote role for a Senior Java Developer. The Senior Java Developer will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining Java applications. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing user requirements to inform application design, writing efficient code, and integrating with third-party web services. The developer will also be responsible for performing regular code reviews, debugging and optimizing applications, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and achieve technical goals. Qualifications Proficiency in Java, Java EE, and related frameworks such as Spring and HibernateExperience with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (Angular, React)Strong knowledge of relational databases (SQL, PostgreSQL) and database designExpertise in API development and integration, including RESTful servicesFamiliarity with DevOps practices and tools (CI/CD pipelines, Docker, Kubernetes)Excellent problem-solving and debugging skillsAbility to work independently and remotely, and collaborate with cross-functional teamsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldExperience in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) is a plusStrong verbal and written communication skills
