Frontend Engineer (Mid/Senior) React + TypeScript

Apply via Dice today!We're looking for a mid to senior-level frontend engineer with expertise in React and TypeScript who thrives in a collaborative, fast-moving environment. You'll help shape the future of our platform by crafting intuitive, high-performance interfaces and working closely with our backend team to integrate seamlessly with our APIs.You'll join a small, highly collaborative team where your work ships quickly and reaches real users. Our backend is built with Elixir/Phoenix and PostgreSQL while Elixir experience is a plus, we welcome engineers eager to collaborate with backend systems and explore new technologies.Key ResponsibilitiesDevelop and maintain user-facing features using React and Tailwind CSS.Translate UI/UX designs into clean, reusable components that work across screen sizes and devices.Collaborate closely with designers, backend engineers, and other team members.Integrate frontend applications with backend APIs powered by Elixir (Phoenix Framework).Debug and troubleshoot UI issues in a cross-browser environment.Stay up-to-date with tools, frameworks, and best practices in frontend development.RequirementsStrong experience with React.js, Vue.jsProficient in TypeScript.Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript (ES6+).Hands-on experience using Tailwind CSS for responsive design.Familiarity with consuming and handling API data (e.g., fetch, axios) and tools like React Query.Strong debugging skills.Ability to work in a collaborative environment and take feedback constructively.Eagerness to learn new technologies.Experience with Next.js or other SSR frameworks is a plus.Bonus SkillsExperience with unit testing.Full-stack development experience.How We WorkLightweight Scrum no rigid daily standups; we check in as needed and collaborate directly.Tools: We use Linear for project tracking and transparency.Culture: We value autonomy, ownership, and high standards, while supporting each other through feedback and pairing.If you're passionate about building polished, performant UIs and want to make an impact on a tight-knit team, we'd love to hear from you.
