Job description:Patient Services RepresentativeiTrust Wellness Group - Outpatient Mental Health PracticeiTrust Wellness is seeking a Patient Services Representative (Front Desk) to join our Anderson, SC outpatient mental health practice in a patient services-focused role. This position is ideal for someone with a strong interest in mental health, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering a high-quality, seamless patient experience.This role is fully administrative and patient-facing, serving as a key point of contact for patients while supporting providers and ensuring efficient daily operations. As a growing organization, we value team members who are adaptable, tech-savvy, and motivated to contribute to a positive and collaborative work environment.Position OverviewThis role is responsible for managing front-office operations and coordinating patient services to ensure a smooth and welcoming experience from check-in to follow-up.Primary Responsibilities (Patient Services Focus)Managing incoming and outgoing patient communication (phone calls, voicemails, text messages, fax communications and other correspondence) and documenting interactions accuratelyScheduling, rescheduling, and confirming appointmentsChecking patients in and out, and coordinating follow-up appointmentsAssisting patients with general questions regarding services, forms, and office policiesGaining proficiency in the EMR system to enhance workflow and patient satisfactionCompleting prior authorization requests for medicationsCommunicating with pharmacies and other medical offices regarding prescriptions and care coordinationMaintaining accurate patient records in accordance with HIPAA guidelinesCollaborating closely with providers and administrative staff to ensure smooth daily operationsSupporting company culture and upholding organizational valuesAssisting with staffing needs at other iTrust Wellness locations as neededPerforming additional duties as assignedRequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to multitask, prioritize responsibilities, and work in a fast-paced environmentStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsKnowledge of HIPAA and patient confidentiality standardsPreferred QualificationsExperience or interest in the mental health field preferredPrevious experience in a front desk, patient services, or administrative role (healthcare preferred)Familiarity with EMR systemsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams)Experience in a private practice or outpatient settingSchedule:Monday-Thursday: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 1:00 p.m.This is an onsite role; candidates must be able to work in-office during standard business hours.iTrust Wellness Group, LLC is committed to cultivating a diverse and inclusive workplace and proudly provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants in accordance with applicable state and federal laws.Note: This job description is intended to convey essential duties and responsibilities and is not an exhaustive list of all functions and tasks required.
