Locum Anesthesiology Job in Oklahoma Seeking Anesthesiology physicians for long-term locum coverage near Oklahoma City, OK. Job Details: Coverage Date: Apr 1, 2022 - Ongoing Coverage Type: Scheduled Clinical Hours + Call Practice Setting: Inpatient Other Details: Types of cases: Ortho, general surgery, GI sedation, general pediatrics (BMT, T&A), adult ENT, GYN, spine, cataracts. All are bread and butter cases. 2-3 providers needed to cover the locums' schedule Split coverage. Will need each to take 2-weekend calls (F-Su) per quarter. If a split FTE, then each can take a 1-weekend call/quarter. Board-certified or board-eligible required. Generally, an FTE takes 2-weekend calls (F-Su collective) per quarter and approximately 8 weekdays (M-Th scattered) per quarter. Calls are distributed equally. The call burden is light and the calls doc generally comes in at 1200. Rarely get called in overnight or on weekends. the provider will supervise CRNAs in 4 rooms, and CRNAs will work in collaboration with the surgeon in the other 4 rooms. The supervising doc at each facility can be available for consult or assistance to any CRNA if needed.
