Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Interventional Radiology Technologist Discipline: Allied Health Professional Start Date: 05/25/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift: 8 hours, days Employment Type: Travel Watertown, NY | ? 13 Weeks | ?? 40 hrs/week – 8:00a–4:30p (Days) Seeking an experienced Radiology Specialist Assistant – Interventional Radiology to provide advanced clinical and procedural support under physician supervision. This role involves delivering high-quality patient care across all age groups, assisting with complex interventional procedures, and ensuring safe, efficient workflow within the department. The candidate will perform and assist with fluoroscopic studies (barium exams), joint injections, paracentesis, thoracentesis, abscess drain placements, bone marrow biopsies, and ultrasound/CT-guided biopsies, including breast procedures with marker placement. Responsibilities also include patient assessments, pre/post-procedure care, documentation, patient education, and maintaining sterile technique and safety standards. Must be comfortable working in a fast-paced interventional setting, collaborating closely with radiologists, nurses, and technologists, and responding effectively to emergency situations. Certifications required: ARRT (Radiography) AHA BLS (ACLS preferred; advanced certifications such as RRA/RA/PA with radiology focus preferred) Patterns Hiring Job ID AN-0740.
