PreK-Grade 3 Music Teacher (Part-Time)

The successful candidate will create a joyful learning environment that fosters a love for music, encourages creativity, and supports the holistic development of young learners.Primary Responsibilities Will Include, But Are Not Limited ToPlan and teach two sections each for PreKindergarten through second grade Collaborate with classroom teachers to integrate curriculum and plan for assembliesCo-teach two sections of third grade with the Director of Visual and Performing ArtsWriting bi-annual student reports and conference notesQualificationsDemonstrated commitment to community, equity, and inclusion in instructional practice and pedagogical approachExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively in a team environmentAttention to detail and impeccable follow-throughExperience with implementing developmentally appropriate music activities to elementary studentsCharles River School actively seeks candidates who will contribute and are committed to a diverse school community and inclusive educational practices.
