Event Security Guard

Event Security Guards Full Job Description We are looking for highly motivated individuals who possess a NYS Security license to provide concert/entertainment security in Manhattan, Brooklyn, Bronx, and Queens. The goal is to detect, deter, observe and report. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent experience required MUST possess a NYS Security license MUST possess a fireguard F03/F04 Security/Law Enforcement experience preferred. Good working knowledge of security operations, safety practices in a business environment and enforcement procedures. Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures. Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills Acute sense of judgment, tact and diplomacy A strong sense of teamwork and ability to execute programs Must be available for 80% of the events which consist of nights and weekends Must be able to stand for long periods of time Must be flexible and available to start ASAP! Working at indoor and outdoor facilities. Job Types: Part-time, Temporary Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour Schedule: 10 hour shift 12 hour shift 8 hour shift Day shift Holidays Night shift On call Overtime Weekend availability Experience: Security guard: 2 year (Preferred) Work Location: Multiple Locations
