Sr. Acquisition Support Specialist

We are currently looking for a Sr. Acquisition Support Specialist in United States.This role is designed for an experienced acquisition professional who can support complex federal procurement activities across the full contract lifecycle. You will play a key part in enabling government customers by contributing to pre-award, source selection, and post-award contracting processes. The position requires strong analytical capability to develop acquisition documentation, evaluate proposals, and support cost and pricing analysis. You will work closely with evaluation teams and contracting officers to ensure compliance with regulations and alignment with mission objectives. The role also involves preparing contract deliverables, monitoring contractor performance, and supporting contract closeout activities. This is a highly detail-oriented position that requires independence, strong communication skills, and the ability to operate effectively in a structured federal environment.Accountabilities:Support a wide range of acquisition activities across the full contract lifecycle, including pre-award, source selection, and post-award contract administration.Develop key pre-award documentation such as procurement plans, Independent Government Cost Estimates (IGCE), Statements of Work (SOW), Performance Work Statements (PWS), RFIs, and RFP/RFQ materials.Assist in source selection processes, including evaluation support, cost realism analysis, and preparation of source selection memorandums.Provide post-award contract management support, including drafting contract modifications and monitoring vendor performance.Support contract closeout activities and ensure proper documentation and compliance with acquisition requirements.Generate ad hoc reports and respond to data calls to support program and acquisition decision-making.Assist in analyzing cost and pricing data to support proposal evaluations and contract negotiations.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).8+ years of experience in acquisition management or federal contracting support across pre-award, source selection, and post-award activities.Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations, policies, and directives, with the ability to apply them effectively.Experience supporting cost and pricing analysis, proposal evaluations, and contract negotiation preparation.Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail.Ability to work independently while also collaborating effectively within team environments.High level of professionalism, discretion, and judgment in client-facing or government-facing settings.Self-motivated and capable of managing multiple tasks with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.Must be a U.S. citizen.Benefits:Competitive hourly rate between $45 and $60 per hour11 paid federal holidays15 days of paid time off (vacation, sick, and personal days)Comprehensive health insurance coverage401(k) retirement plan with company matchCompany-paid life and disability insuranceEmployee assistance program (EAP)Remote work flexibility within the United StatesOpportunity to support impactful federal acquisition programsHow Jobgether works:We use an AI-powered matching process to ensure your application is reviewed quickly, objectively, and fairly against the role's core requirements.
