PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA)

Fox Subacute at Mechanicsburg is a 55-bed facility that cares for clinically complex respiratory and ventilator dependent patients. We are currently looking for a PRN Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to assist our residents in improving their current level of function. Our PTA will work closely with the entire rehab department to provide rehabilitative services to individuals with physical impairments or disabilities. PTAs may assist in implementing physical therapy treatment plans, conducting exercises, monitoring patients' progress, and contributing to the overall rehabilitation process. Our primary goal is to help individuals regain mobility, strength, and function after illness, injury, or surgery. Candidates will ensure continued competence and updated field knowledge, instruct patients effectively in physical exercises, identify patient’s needs and exhibit compassion, care, and empathy to all individuals.
