The ideal candidate will be responsible for evaluating, negotiating, and purchasing precious metals and luxury goods while delivering exceptional customer service to customers and partners. This role requires a blend of industry expertise, sales experience, strong negotiation skills, and a customer-focused mindset. The position involves regular travel to events across North America. Key ResponsibilitiesTravel to Jewelry store locations to assist in purchasing goods at estate buying events, nights and weekends as needed (minimum 22 trips annually).Monitor market trends, pricing fluctuations, and emerging trends in the jewelry industry to inform purchasing decisions.Conduct quality evaluations on all valuables and luxury goods that come into events, providing educated offers, maintaining favorable closing ratios and speed of service. Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer and store partner inquiries, resolving issues, and building long-term relationships.Analyze purchasing data to support strategic decision-making and improve personal and organizational performance. Qualifications and RequirementsStrong knowledge of luxury goods including, but not limited to, precious metals, diamonds, gemstones, watches, coins, designer handbags, and militaria. 1-3 years of sales experience with a proven track record of high closing ratios and exceptional customer service.Proven customer service experience, excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.Willingness and ability to travel domestically as required.Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.Valid driver's license and Real ID compliant identification.What We OfferCompetitive salary and performance-based bonuses.Comprehensive benefits package including health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.Opportunities for professional development and career advancement.A collaborative and creative work environment.If you are passionate about luxury goods and are ready to contribute to our success, we encourage you to apply. Stratus Buyers is an equal opportunity employer.
