About Bocce e Baci Bocce e Baci is a gathering place for community events, local culture, and social recreation in downtown Appleton. An open-air courtyard with a bar and cafe, a pizza shack, local vendor kitchens, bocce ball in the summer and curling in the winter. A place for young professionals, students, families and everyone in-between to eat, drink, meet, play, and socialize. Located one block off College Ave at 208 S. State St. The Role We are looking for a Pizza Maker to join our pizza shack team. Authentic Neapolitan-style pizza made with quality ingredients and cooked in a Marra Forni rotating deck oven. The menu is small, seasonal, and intentional, which means the quality of every pizza matters and consistency is everything. This is a great role for someone who takes pride in their work, moves well under pressure, and wants to be part of something new in Appleton. What You Will Do Prep and assemble Neapolitan-style pizzas to spec, consistently and efficiently Operate and maintain the Marra Forni rotating deck oven under direction of the Pizza Manager Handle prep work: dough stretching, topping prep, ingredient portioning Keep the pizza shack clean, organized, and up to health code standards at all times Help with opening and closing duties Work closely with a small team in a fast-paced, outdoor environment What We Are Looking For At least 1 year of kitchen or line cook experience is preferred, but not required. We will train the right person! Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and stay organized under pressure Reliable, shows up on time, and takes their work seriously Comfortable working on your feet for extended periods ServSafe certified or willing to get certified before opening Experience making pizza, especially Neapolitan or artisan-style, or willingness to learn Familiarity with deck ovens or high-heat cooking is great A genuine interest in food and learning the craft Perks Competitive hourly pay Flexible scheduling Free pizza & bev during your shift :) To Apply Send your resume to hello@boccebaci.com and tell us a little about your kitchen background.
