AutoCAD Technician

Job Summary We need a CAD/Designer to join our team. We need someone who has electrical knowledge and capability. Power, instruments, electrical distribution are all part of the job. Responsibilities Execute and support mostly electrical projects and work to achieve project goals and objectives Review project deliverables for quality assurance and compliance with standards. Develop and maintain project schedules and budgets, ensuring timely completion of tasks within established budgets Utilize engineering software such as AutoCAD, AutoCAD Electrical for design and drafting purposes Interface frequently with present and future clients Learn project management activities, including resource allocation Learn to create and review drawings for accuracy Facilitate effective communication among team members and stakeholders. Conduct technical writing for project documentation, reports, and presentations Collaborate with cross-functional teams to build innovative solutions using tools like Bluebeam Skills Proficient in mechanical, structural and electrical design in mining, power, oil and gas, manufacturing and low-rise buildings, or willing to learn Looking for someone for sure with electrical experience Proficient in project scheduling techniques and tools or willing to learn Strong knowledge of engineering design principles and practices preferred Excellent client communication skills and demonstrated ability Strong technical writing abilities for clear documentation. Ability to build effective relationships within the team and across departments. Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving capabilities.
