Processing Technician

*Location:* Fullerton, CA, 92831
*Duration:* 12 months (Contract-to-Hire)
*Pay Rate:* $27- $28/hr. W2 (without any benefits)
*Shift:* 2nd Shift, Monday–Friday, 3:30 PM–2:00 AM and (5) hours Saturday (not mandatory)
*Job Summary*
We are looking for an experienced Processing Technician to work in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate has experience with chemicals, wet processing, plating, painting, blasting, and passivation.
*Responsibilities*
* Lead and support the processing team.
* Work with chemicals, cleaning, plating, and coating processes.
* Operate and troubleshoot washing and blasting equipment.
* Inspect parts for quality.
* Read work instructions and blueprints.
* Complete production paperwork and reports.
* Train and help other team members.
* Follow safety and quality procedures.
* Keep the work area clean and safe.
*Requirements*
* High school diploma or GED.
* Experience with industrial processing or manufacturing.
* Experience with chemicals, plating, painting, blasting, or passivation.
* Previous lead or team-lead experience preferred.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
* Basic computer skills.
Pay: $27.00 - $28.00 per hour
