Research Analyst - Local Media (Temporary)

Are you passionate about turning data into actionable insights that drive real business results? As a Research Analyst for Scripps Local Media, you'll play a vital role in supporting our media properties by aggregating, analyzing, and reporting performance data that helps shape sales strategies, content decisions, and programming choices. This is a unique opportunity to work remotely while making a meaningful impact across multiple Scripps stations. In this role, you'll collaborate with sales teams, news management, and station leadership to provide the data-driven insights they need to succeed. What You’ll Do Prepare recurring analysis of market program audiences to support local station sales and content initiatives. Support development and maintenance of sales materials as assigned. Provide news management with data and analysis to support content decisions. Provide station management with data and analysis to support syndicated programming decisions. Support research and analysis projects. Respond and fulfill station ad hoc requests. Other duties as assigned. What You’ll Need BS/BA in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience. Experience with Wide Orbit Media Sales, Scarborough, media audience rating systems, comScore, Kantar, AdIntel and/or other qualitative, quantitative and competitive media data preferred. What You’ll Bring Personal computer skills with proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint and Word required. Ability to analyze and interpret data from a variety of sources. Demonstrate excellent written and verbal presentation skills. Must be well-organized. Must be a self-starter. Ability to work in a team environment.
