Caregiver PositionThe Caregiver role is a crucial position for those who rely on others for basic daily care, such as bathing, eating, and personal hygiene. The incentives that we provide to our staff simply displays our eagerness to ensure that our team is encouraged and confident when being out in the field but to also have the necessary resources for growth while working towards their success in the healthcare industry.Caregiver Compensation and Benefits:Competitive Pay401k Retirement PlansHealthcare ContributionsFlexible Working HoursFull-Time & Part-Time AssignmentsSpecialized TrainingMileage ReimbursementContinued Education OpportunitiesCompensation: $14.00 - $15.00Caregiver Responsibilities:Help clients with medication reminders and organizationAssist clients with ambulation and mobility around the house or outside (doctor's appointments, walks etc.)Assist clients with personal care and hygieneHelp clients complete physical therapy and other recommended exercisesDo the client's shopping or accompany them when they shop if neededPerform light housekeeping duties that clients can't complete on their own, including preparing mealsCollect information about conditions and treatment plans from caregivers, nurses, doctors and family membersReport any unusual incidents to nurses, doctors and family membersAct quickly and responsibly in cases of emergencyCaregiver Requirements:Reliable TransportationPrevious caregiver experience preferred but not requiredCurrent CPR (American Heart Association) CertificationWillingness to adhere to health and safety standardsKnowledge of housekeeping activities and cooking with attention to dietary constraintsMust be respectful and compassionate with a good bedside mannerOutstanding communication, time management and interpersonal skillsPhysical endurance to complete required tasksHigh school diploma or equivalentCare Runners Home Care Services, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
