Is responsible for ensuring that all federal/state/local and district rules and regulations governing the preparation, storage and dissemination of food are followed. Responsible for all fiscal accounting for the site.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:Prepare food for the Food Service programPortion and service nutritious and attractive foodFriendly and helpful to students and staffPerform daily and heavy cleaningAssist with all required paperworkReport needed equipment and facility repairsFollow Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point regulationsFollow all federal/ state/ local/ district rules and regulationsAccept other responsibilities and duties assigned by supervisorSupport district and school efforts to keep CCSD safe and secureComplete and comply with all required trainings annuallyAdhere to NM Code of Ethical Responsibility of the Education Profession (NMAC 6.60.9.8)Other duties as assigned, reasonably related to the scope of the positionMinimum Qualifications:High School Diploma or GEDFood Handler's cardKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of Dine language, culture, and history preferredGood communication skills and customer service skillsAbility to operate a calculator and have good math skillsAbility to follow a recipePhysical/Job Requirements:Standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying up to 50 pounds, climbing, bending, reaching, kneeling, driving a vehicle, traveling long distances, writing, typing, word processing, reading, researching information, and effective communication skills.Safety and Health:Knowledge of universal hygiene precautionsCompleted and cleared background checkPass drug test if required for positionKnowledge and compliance with district and school Safety PlansEquipment/Material Handled:Multimedia equipment, including current technologyEquipment/materials relevant to the job responsibilitiesValid driver license and insurable by district if necessaryWork Environment:Must be able to work within various degrees of noise, temperature and air qualityWork interruptionsFlexibilityMust be self-motivated and able to complete job assignment without direct supervisionMust complete applications and assignments within the timeframes allowedExtended work hours, on occasionTerm of Employment:Non-Exempt
