Journeyman Electrician

Journeyman Electrician Our client is seeking an experienced Journeyman Electrician for a long-term contract opportunity. This role is ideal for a hands-on electrical professional with industrial and commercial installation experience who takes pride in quality workmanship, safety, and reliability on the job site. Position Overview The Journeyman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and supporting electrical systems and field instrumentation in an industrial environment. Candidates should be comfortable working with conduit systems, wiring installations, field devices, and common electrical construction tools and equipment. Key Responsibilities Install and run conduit systems including EMT and rigid conduit Operate conduit benders, including both hand and electric benders Install field instruments such as pressure transmitters Run and pull various sizes and types of wire Install electrical enclosures and related equipment Utilize tools and equipment such as Sawzalls, drills, and other construction tools safely and effectively Read and interpret electrical drawings and installation layouts Support jobsite activities while maintaining quality and safety standards Preferred Qualifications Experience installing stainless steel pneumatic tubing Experience working with cable tray systems Experience performing electrical terminations Experience with material takeoffs and client takeoffs Industrial or manufacturing facility experience preferred Qualifications Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent field experience Strong understanding of electrical installation practices and jobsite safety Ability to work independently and as part of a team Reliable transportation and dependable attendance Ability to work in physically demanding environments and lift materials/equipment as needed We are an Equal Opportunity Employer.
