Junior Software Developer

About the Role TC Interactive Group builds custom web applications for our clients. We're looking for a Junior Software Developer who loves writing code and shipping features. You'll work across the frontend and backend under the guidance of team leads and other engineers — this is a great role if you're early in your career and want to grow fast. What You'll Do Build and maintain web applications across the frontend and backend Develop and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services Work with databases to design schemas, write queries, and build CRUD functionality Integrate with third-party APIs and authentication flows Help design and deploy applications in Linux and Docker environments What You Need to Have Solid Python fundamentals Experience building web UIs with React and TypeScript Basic understanding of how web applications work (requests, responses, APIs) Some hands-on experience with SQL and relational databases At least one project — school, personal, or work — you can walk us through Bonus Points If You Have Experience with Django or a similar Python web framework Familiarity with Docker or Linux environments Knowledge of authentication flows (JWT, OAuth2, API keys) JavaScript experience beyond TypeScript/React Tools We Use Languages: Python, TypeScript, JavaScript, SQL, HTML/CSS Frameworks: Django, React, Tailwind CSS Dev Tools: Git, Docker, Postman, Linux Ideal Background 1–3 years of experience — internships, co-ops, and personal projects all count Strong problem-solver who's eager to learn and open to feedback Location: Orlando, FL 32810 (Required) Work Location: In person Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour Ability to Commute: Orlando, FL 32805 (Required) Work Location: In person
