Bartender

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Bartender to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional hospitality and creating memorable experiences for our guests. As a Bartender, you will be responsible for mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks according to recipes or customer preferences while ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. Duties Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with standard recipes and customer requests. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and utensils. Engage with customers to provide excellent service, taking drink orders and offering recommendations based on preferences. Handle cash transactions accurately, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed. Monitor inventory levels of beverages and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure availability. Collaborate with kitchen staff and other team members to ensure seamless service during busy periods. Adhere to all health and safety regulations, including food handling guidelines. Participate in catering events as needed, providing bar service for special occasions. Requirements Proven experience in the food industry or restaurant environment is preferred. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar point-of-sale systems is a plus. Excellent hospitality skills with a friendly demeanor towards guests. Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of food handling practices and responsible alcohol service is essential. Must be at least 21 years of age as per legal requirements for serving alcohol. Job Type: Part-time Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week Work Location: In person
