Systems Engineer

Hoplite Solutions is seeking a Systems Engineer who will be responsible for the applications infrastructure across all networks. Technical support to make application security compliant. Responsible for tech precepts implementation and contractually responsible to be on call 24/7.Key Responsibilities:System Design & Implementation: Design, install, configure, and test operating systems, application software, and system management toolsMonitoring & Maintenance: Proactively monitor system performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions to ensure high availabilitySecurity & Redundancy: Implement and maintain robust security measures, backup strategies, and disaster recovery plansAutomation & Scripting: Develop custom scripts to automate tasks and improve system efficiencyTroubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues across hardware, software, and network componentsCollaboration: Work closely with developers, management, and other departments to understand requirements and deliver solutionsDocumentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation for system architecture, procedures, and supportTechnology Evaluation: Research and assess emerging technologies for potential upgrades or new implementationsRequired Skills:Minimum of 2 years of experience as a systems engineerTechnical Expertise: Strong knowledge of network architecture, server administration, virtualization (e.g., Python)Analytical Skills: Ability to see the big picture, analyze complex systems, and perform cost-benefit analysesProblem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting skills and proactive approach to identifying and resolving issuesCommunication: Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholdersAt Hoplite Solutions, we pride ourselves on offering competitive salaries and a comprehensive benefits package.
